Our service area includes Miamisburg, West Carrolton, Centerville, Kettering, Oakwood, Huber Heights, Springboro, Franklin, Carlisle, and Middletown. We also come to Preble County on Saturday's
Why is mobile grooming more expensive than a salon?
A lot of people wonder why mobile dog grooming is more expensive than the traditional salon groom. (The national average is $30 or more than area salons.) Really, there are a lot of reasons. The most obvious is that it’s a luxury service. Mobile groomers come to your home and don’t disrupt your day. The dogs in their care get special one-on-one attention and are groomed straight through making it less stressful for you and your dog. We also use higher end products such as luxury shampoos and conditioners. Something not everyone may consider is quantity. It is impossible for mobile groomers to groom as many dogs in a day as a salon would. We have travel time to consider, we don’t have bathers, multiple groomers or receptionists and we can’t “assembly line” our grooms. The national average dogs per day for a mobile groomer is 6 dogs, while the average for a salon is 24 per day

Do you need to hook up to my water or electricity?
Our mobile grooming van is completely self contained. We have our own water and generator, however we can also plug in to a regular outlet with nothing else plugged in, (our goal is to not disrupt your day especially with a tripped breaker).
What is your key on file service?
The Nomadic Spaw offers a key on file service! Re-occuring clients can provide The Nomadic Spaw with a form of access to the home, The Nomadic Spaw will come by at your scheduled grooming appointment time to care for your pet. Once finished we will message you with a finished photo of your pet and you can pay online using our secure payment system.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept all major credit cards as well as cash or check.
Can I stay in the van with my pet?
Unfortunately our insurance does not cover guests in the mobile spa also, space is very limited. rest assured that if we need you for any reason we will text/call you immediately
Can you groom my aggressive dog/cat?
We can certainly try. Many pets that have not done well in a traditional grooming salon respond very well to mobile grooming. However, our goal is a safe stress free environment, so at any time your pet may become overly stressed the grooming process will be stopped.
What vaccinations do you require?
We only require that your pet is up-to-date on its rabies vaccination which is required by the State of Ohio. However, it is highly recommended that your pet be up-to-date on any vaccinations suggested by your veterinarian.
What if I cannot keep my scheduled appointment and have to cancel?
We require a 24 hour notice to change or cancel, failure to call in 24 hrs may result in a $40 charge that must be paid prior to your next grooming appointment.
What if you dont service my area?
If you are booking and recieve the out of service option please contact us by either call or texting (937) 856-7903 . If we have more than 6 clients in a area we can entend our service to your neighgborhood. So be sure to tell your friends about us!
